ついに出来たぞ！ Ｆｉｎａｌｌｙ Ｓｕｃｃｅｅｄｅｄ ！

古くてボロボロで錆びだらけでタンポも腐ったような状態のテナーサックスが９ヶ月かかってようやく全部の音階が出るようになった。音質は決して満足できるものではないがまあこんな物だろうと思います。ＳＡＸというのはキーのメカニズムが非常に複雑でトーンホールを塞ぐタンポの締まり具合が少しでも隙があると満足な演奏は出来ません。またキーのストロークも均一にしないとうまく演奏が出来ません。トーンホールとタンポの調整を何度も慎重に行いキーストロークの動き代はコルクを小さく切ってゴム系のボンドで貼り付けて調整しました。タンポは締まるだけではなく開き具合も少ないと音がきれいに出ないことが解りました。これでＳＡＸの特徴というものがかなり理解できました。

It was a very old broken and rusted tenor saxophone. But I fainally succeeded to restore to be a playable one. It took almost 9 months to repair it. I can play this SAX from the most lower tone up to the most high tone. The key mechanism is very complicated and very difficult to fix again.The quality of the sound is not satisfactory but I think for this old one it would be just good ! To close the tone holes with the pads is very important but it is also needed to open the tone hole just enough to make a good sound. I studied very much about the saxophone through this job of restoring the old SAX.

桜の満開はもう終わってしまった！ Full bloom has gone already !

今年も柏尾川堤の桜の満開はとても綺麗だった。少し満開になるのが今年は早すぎたのでゆっくりと見に行く暇もないうちに既に満開の時期は終わってしまった。

The full bloom of the cherry blossom beside Kashio river was very beautiful. However the full blooming became too early. The full blooming term was too short then I have less chance to enjoy veiwing the blossom.

初心者の高齢者が吹く哀愁のメロディーかな？

こんなへたくそな演奏ですが本人は結構楽しんでいるんですよ。Even the play is very poor but I am just enjoying !
