Bug Key の試作その2（Trial ｏｆ a bug key the second time)

以前に試作しておいたBug　Key　を少し改良してみました。短点の接点は硬い物同士の接触だと弾んでしまって短点が極端に短くなってしまうので薄い真鍮板でクッションの効果をもたせました。これにより短点の接点が接触している時間がある程度維持されるのでちょうど良い長さになりました。錘の付いている平バネ（燐青銅板）は先端部にストッパーを設けました。これで錘の振動は一瞬で停止します。長点用の接点はやはり独立した機構にしないとうまく動作させるのは難しいようです。これでかなりKnow　How　が解ったので次回からの製作はもう少し良い物ができるでしょう。

This time I remodeled a bug key which I made before. The dot signal was too short because the contact points bounced between the hard contact points then I installed a very thin brass plate to have  spring or I should say a cushioning effect to avoid from bouncing the contact points. And I also installed a stopper post for the dot spring plate which has a weight on it then the dot vinration will stop suddenly when touched on the stopper.Now the dot signal became very good however, the dash signal is not good enough so I must make an individual dash lever mechanism. I did have good know how in this remodeling work so I think I would be able to make more good bug key next time.
