雑音で演奏が出来るか？（Is it possible to play music by noise ?)

かねてからSAXの管体共鳴の実験をしていました。純音（正弦波）を使うとかなりシャープなピークになる周波数が出てきますが、音階の周波数とはうまく合いません。トランペットの場合は音階の周波数にかなり近いデーターが得られました。SAXの場合は両手でキーを押さないと出来ないので片手で出来る高音部のキーしかやっていないので結果がうまく出ないようです。２人係りでやれば良いのですが、、、そこで純音ではなく多くの周波数成分が均一に含まれているホワイトノイズを入れてやってみました。ホワイトノイズトしては取り敢えずFMラヂオの放送の無い周波数のザーーというノイズを使ってみました。これはかなりホワイトノイズに近いものです。これで夕焼け小焼けなどを演奏してみました。ザーーーというノイズの中に微かにそれらしき局が聞こえてきました。これでSAXの各トーンレバーにおける管体の共鳴があることが証明できました。SAXの音程に適合したホワイトノイズを使えばもっと明確に聞こえるようになると思います。

Is it possible to play SAX by noise ?I have been doing an experiment to know how the SAX resonate in the instrument. I used sine wave ( pure tone) to find out the resonant frequencies however I have to use both hands to operate the tone levers then I could only done high tones of A,B,C,D because those can be done by right hand only. I need one more person to help my experiment. A Trumpet can operate by one hand then I found so many resonant frequencies just same as the musical interval tones. Then I used " white noise" instead because the white noise includes so many noise component frequencies and they are almost same powers I mean flat in wide range. I put the white noise which was taken from the FM radio's no bload cast frequency sounds like "ZA-----"by small speaker into the SAX and played "yuuyake koyake" .I just realized I can listen the merody of "Yuyake Koyake" among the ZA----- noise.!! I foud the SAX can resonate on each tone lever position. This music must be listened very very carefully because the music is very weak and buried under the great ZA--- noise. I think if I use more good noise cantainig the frequencies of the SAX's range the music can be listened in more clear condition.
