水平回転式バイスへの改造（Remodeling a Vice to be a horizontally rotating type)

フライス盤で使っているバイスは固定式なので斜め方向の加工が出来ません。そこでバイスを水平方向で回転出来るように改造しました。先ず5ｍｍ厚の鉄板をバンドソーで切断し、バイスの底面に皿ネジで固定します。さらにバイスを回転させる中心部に８.５φの穴を開けます。フライス盤のX-Yテーブルの中心部に8.0φの芋ネジを固定して、ここにバイスの8.5φの穴をかぶせるように載せます。これで回転ができるのでバイスを必要な角度に回転させてから5ｍｍ厚のベース板をTナットとボルトで固定します。

5ｍｍの板を切断。

T溝の逃げ穴（長穴）の加工。

取り付け用の皿穴加工。

水平方向回転バイスが完成。

I remodeled my Vice to be a rotating type. First I cut a 5mm thick iron plate by a band saw. And I set this plate under the Vice with flat topped screws. I made a 8.5mm φ　hole under the rotating center of the bottom plate. I installed a 8mm φ　screw in the center of X-Y tabel so that the Vice can rotate around this screw. After I adjusted the angle of the Vice the Vice can be securely settled by T nuts on the X-Y table shown as above.
