メタノールの試飲？（A mistake drinking of methanol)

先日、ふとしたことから危険物第4類のメタノールを試飲？（誤飲）してしまいました。電鍵を製作していてとても良くできたのでそれを右手で持って眺めながら左手で午後の紅茶のペットボトルを掴みそのままゴクッと口に入れました。それは横に一緒に置いてあったメタノールのボトルだったのです。即座にゲー！となりましたが時既に遅く喉の奥へと流れ込んでしまったのです。慌てて指を喉に突っ込み戻そうとしましたが出ません。そこで近くの病院へ電話し事情を話したら「すぐに来なさい」という。幸い歩いても5～６分の所にある病院だったので駆け込みました。救急外来が既に待機していて即座に胃の洗浄をしました。鼻から管を入れて大きなな注射器で5～６回水を注入しては吸い出すという作業です。看護師はその間私のお腹を両手でもんでいました。結局その日はそのまま入院となり、レントゲンと血液検査をし、それから二日間は食事がありませんでした。点滴だけです。さすがに空腹になりますね。普段何気なく食事をする有難さが解ります。三日後に胃カメラとレントゲン、心電図などを受け、無罪解放となりました。肺の一部、喉及び胃に炎症が少し残っているので柔らかい物を食べるようにとの指示でした。今後、私の作業小屋では飲食はしないことに決めました。それから半月経過しましたが幸い異常はありません。メタノールとても美味しかったナー？？、、、もう飲みたくない！！

When I was making a morse key as usual the key was fainally finished and it was so beautiful. I was holdinig the key by rightside hand and I grasped a bottle of tea. I thought it wasa tea bottle however it was a bottle of Methanol !. I didn't see the bottle because I was watching the key that was so nicely made then I just gulped it down ! Gheeee !!
I put my finger into my throat to vomit but I couldn't. My wife called a phone to a hospital it was very near to my home. An emergency doctor tld us that come to the hosital  as soon as possible with the bottle you drunk. I rushed into the hospital and the staffs of the emergency department wash.de my stomach with much water pouring into a vinyl pipeinseted from my nose. Doctor checked my blood and took a X-ray photoe of my lung. And I was hospitalised for three days. I couldn't eat for two days. Some riquid with nutritious value was supplied by drip infusion. I was fully starving those two days !!But three days later doctor check my stomach by fiberscope and finally doctor diagnosed that I had slight damage in the throat lung and stomack but it was OK to leave the hospital. Then my wife cooked sme soft food for me for few days after that. I am Ok naw!! I will never drink it again Ha Ha Ha !!
