ベアリングを使いました。（Ｉ ｕｓｅｄ ｂｅａｒｉｎｇｓ）

縦振り電鍵にベアリングを始めて採用してみました。台座は檜で細身にしつまみの位置は後方にあまりはみ出さないようにして初心者が力んで送信しても前方が浮き上がらないようにしました。鏡面仕上げのあとでラッカーを掛けているので真鍮の美しい肌が長持ちします。写真をクリックすると拡大されます。
部品は全て真鍮の角材や丸棒からの削りだしです。ツマミは黒のジュラコン樹脂の３０φ丸棒から削りだした物です。檜の台座のニス塗利はとても苦労します。

I made two vertical swipers using small bearings for the pivots. This is the first time for me to use the bearings. I made the pedestal by Japanese cypress. The pedestals are nallow longer sised as shown in the pictures. I placed the knob just on the end of the pedestal so that to avod to tilt the pedestal when an operater pushed down the knob very hard. It would be usually happen when a new commer of the CW operator strain to swipe the key. All parts were made from brass material and the knob ws made of plastic material. i made those parts by a small desktop lathe and mill. It was very difficult to paint the varnish on the wood of cypress. Clicking on the photes to enlarge them.
