新しいＳＡＸ用ストラップ（A new SAX strap

今まで使っていたＳＡＸ用のストラップ（ＳＡＸを吊るす紐）は両肩に金属製の弓状に曲がったフックを掛けて書面には伸縮できる棒がついていてＳＡＸを吊るす方法の物でした。これは首にかかる負荷がないので頸椎には負担がかからず重いテナーＳＡＸなどにはとても良いと思います。しかし弓状のフックにはクッションが一応は付いているがこれがかなり硬いので鎖骨に当たって痛い。最近５つのパーツを自由に組み合わせてオーダーができるＢＩＲＤのストラップが発売された。首の部分は皮製で中に厚めのクッションが入っている。これが頸椎の部分を避けるように左右に分かれているので頸椎への負担が少ない。早速注文してみたら具合が良いのでこれからはこのストラップを使うことにする。皮はカンパリという赤い色でフックやセパレーターはゴールドにした。ちょっと派手だと思おうが豪華な感じがする。

I have been using a hanger type SAX strap as shown in the picture the black one.This one is very good to avoid heavy load upon my cervical vertebra especially when I play heavy tenor sax however, the bow shaped bar is very hard and I feel pain on my collarbone. Recently my SAX instructress showed me a new type strap made of five very colorful parts and we can chose those colors separately. The pad has thick cushons in the leather band and the center portion is opened as shown above. This space can reduce the heavy load upon the vertebra. I choosed a showy color but I like this very much ! I have to practice to play SAX more to be a good player for this nice strap!!
