複合型電鍵(A Hybrid Type Morse Key)

友人から製作を依頼された複合型の電鍵です。大きな大理石（180ｍｍ×190ｍｍ×30ｍｍ）に縦振り電鍵（ストレートキー）とパドルを搭載した物を作って欲しいと頼まれました。そこでストレートキーは最近開発した電鍵で接点に燐青銅板を使った「Ｈｅｌｉｏｓ　Ｎｏ.905」を搭載し、パドルは一番評判の良い「Ｇｌｏｒｉ－Ａｎｎ　Ｎｏ.906」というアイアンビック型のパドルを搭載しました。自分ながらとても良く出来たと思います。大理石が非常に硬くて30ｍｍの深さの貫通孔を開けるのが大変でした。石材加工用のドリルがすぐに摩耗してしまい、何度も何度も研磨しながらやっとの思いで４ケ所の穴が開きました。大理石がかなり重いので電鍵を運搬するときはキー本体を持つことは出来ません。必ず大理石を持って運搬しないとキー本体から大理石が外れてしまう可能性がありそうです。

One of my friend asked me to make a hybrid type morse code Key. A straight key and a paddle. He brought a big marble stone (180ｍｍ×190ｍｍ×30ｍｍ）and he want to make a hybrid type ke using the big barble stone. I made a recently developed straight key named "Helios No.905 and a paddle which is the most popular one among my products."Glori-Ann" the Iambic type one. It was very hard work for me to make four bores into the very thick marble stone as the stone is very hard. a drill for stone was soon damaged therefore I had to sharpen the drill veru often while I was making bores.
this marble is veru heavy so when carrying the key it must be grasped the stone not the key itself to avoid from breaking it.
