ドナーファミリーの集い（Donor Family's Day)

１０月１０日体育の日に東京霞が関にあるイイノホールでドナーファミリーの集いがありました。これは角膜を提供された方のご遺族や角膜を受けて移植した人達及び医療関係者が交流をするイベントです。私は今回レシピエント（角膜を受けて移植した人）として集いに招かれました。遺族の方にお礼の言葉を述べるとともに日頃練習しているサックスを３曲ほど披露しました。角膜を移植したことで楽譜が見えるようになりサックスの演奏が出来るようになったからです。他にもハワイアンのグループが演奏を披露しました。

ＮＨＫの女性アナウンサーの感想を聞いているところです。

It has held No.19th donor family's gethering on Oct.10th in IINO HALL  Kasumigaseki Tokyo. This gethering is for the family of deceased person who donated his or her cornea and the recipients of the cornea and also the ophthalmologists and so on. I was invited to this gethering as one of the recipient of cornea. I am very happy as I am able to express my full mind of gratidude for my cornea transplantation to doctor and donor families. After the transplantation of the cornea I have started to practice Saxophone because I became able to read the musical notes. I very much enjoyed played Saxophone among them in this getherin  A hawaiian group also played their music..
