秋のお茶摘み体験（Experiencing tea leaf picking in Autumn)

秋の３番茶のお茶摘み体験をしてきました。１０月１日（土）横浜発午前７時の東海道線で熱海へ行きそこから伊豆急に乗り換えて長岡まで行き、５０分ほど歩いて茶畑に着きました。ここは有名な韮山の反射炉のすぐ近くです。このグループはＧＴＴ（Good Time Trekkers)というグループでアメリカ人と日本人で構成されており、日本人は英会話を楽しみ外国人は日本の観光などを楽しむことが出来ます。この日は生憎の小雨でしたが温室の中でお茶摘みをしました。男女ともに絣の着物に着替えてたすきがけをし手ぬぐいをかぶるとそれなりに様になったようです。みなさんとっても楽しかったようです。この後食事をしてから反射炉を見学しました。(写真の掲載については承諾を得てあります）

We went to Nagaoka in Izu peninsula to enjoy young tea leaf picking. The good season for tea leaf picking is mid in spring but we can also enjoy in Autumn, too. It was on Oct. 1st and we started Yokohama station at 7 in the morning. We transfered to Izu kyu line at Atami and got off at Nagaoka. We walked for about 50 minutes to tea farm. It was rainy but very comfortable cool day so we just enjoyed walking.  The tea farm is located in very near to the famous Nirayama reverberatory furnace. This group is named GTT(Good Time Trekkers), we Japanese can sutudy English conversation and Americans can enjoy tour in Japan. We changed our cloth into Kasuri Kimono with tie to back up Kimono sleeves so the outlook is almost the profesional tea leaf pickers. We enjoyed picking in a big green house because it was rainy. After we had lunch we sutudied the reverberatory furnace by observation.( the Americans agreed to put the pictures on my blog)
