総真鍮製のストレートキー「Helios」

全て真鍮の材料を使って製作したストレートキー「Helios」です。ネジやバネ及び接点部の材料は真鍮ではありません。重量が3Kg余りあるので大変どっしりとしています。従って打鍵音もとても静かです。レバーの先端に0.4ｍｍ厚の燐青銅板が付けてあり、上側の接点ネジの先端は尖らせてあります。クッション効果がって非常にソフトなタッチです。

I was asked to make a morse key made of all brass material. amall screws,spring and the contact point are not brass material. The weight of the key is neary 3kg so it is very stable on the desk and also it is very much quiet when I operate it. I used a 0.4mm thin phosphorus bronze plate for the contact plate on the top of the lever and I shapened top of the contact bolt on the upper position. Therefore the touch is very soft.
