ベルトサンダーが完成しました。A belt Sander has completed.

ベルトサンダーが完成しました。Ｖベルト駆動の予定でしたが、振れが大きくて騒音と振動が大きいので、結局はユニバーサルジョイントを使ってモーターを直結にしました。これで手持ちのモーターを活用するという目的は達成できました。このベルトサンダーはパドルのFinger Pieceの成型用として重宝に使えそうです。明日は仕上げ作業をします。購入した材料費は約４５００円ですがプーリーとＶベルトは使わなかったのでそれを除くと約３０００円で出来たことになります。プーリーとベルトはまた別の機会に役立てます。これに使ったスイッチボックスは古いサンダーから外した物を流用しています。

My home made belt sander has completed. First i wanted to use two pulleys but those center hole are deflected and make big vibration and noise. So I used a flexible coupling and directly connected the the motor to the driven shaft. i have succeeded to use my old motor. I think this sander is very usefull to make finger pieces of morse code paddles.Tommorrow I will finish this sander for more adjustment. I payed about ￥4500 to buy the materials and parts but I didn't use the pulleys and V belt so it actually cost about ￥3000. The two pulleys and V belt can be used to my next project. The switch box used here is also a old one I took from a old belt sander.
