若かった頃は　その第2弾です。

年齢は間もなく40歳になる頃でした。娘たち2人も大きくなり自分専用の無線室（Shack)が必要になってきました、またキッチンも狭かったので自分で裏庭に増築する事にしました。会社が夏休みになる前に材料を購入しておき、大きな材料は行程の進展に合わせて運んでもらうようにしました。土台はブロックを並べると言う簡単な方法でブロックの配置が済んでから柱の加工、梁の加工、屋根、床材、窓枠、断熱材、アルミサッシ、屋根のトタン張り、床張り、内装、ペンキ塗りと進めて行きました。電気配線は当時はまだ資格がなかったので水道も含めて業者に依頼しました。夏休みは1週間でしたがこれに有給休暇を加えてかなりのスピードで行程が進みました。残った仕事は休日の度に少しづつ進めて9月半ばには完成しました。今ではとてもじゃないがこんな重労働は出来ませんね。写真はネガがなかったので写真をカメラで撮影したので解像度が悪いです。

When I was young No.

It was almost getting to be aged just before 40. My daughters has grewed up big so I need to have my own room so called Radio Shack and also our kitchen room was not wide enough so I decided to add an extension to my house. I bought wood materials and other things before summer vacation and I ordered some very big material such as wall , floor, loof panels to be delivered on just good time following to the working processes. I used a very simple method for making foundation using concrete blocks and after that I processed to make pillers beams and etc. I processed loof, floor, windows, insulation. interior work and painting. At that time I did'n have license for electric wiring so I asked to contractors including water piping. My summer vacation was only 1 week however my work was done very speedy and the remained work was done on every week end then in the middle of September my shack and kitchen were completed. It was very ver hard work for me I think it is impossible for me to do such same work at my age now !   

若かった頃は When I was young

これは３０歳代半ばだったと思う、アマチュア無線家にとっては究極の念願である鉄塔を建てました。11ｍ程度の比較的小さな鉄塔でしたが庭に穴を掘って無線の仲間たちが手伝って建ててくれました。さすがに３エレメントの大型八木アンテナの威力により14MHｚSSBで海外との更新が楽に出来るようになりました。私はDXハンティング二はあまり興味がなくてもっぱらラグチューをしていました。特にオーストラリアは時差が１時間しかないのでQSO（通信）が楽に出来ました。VK3AGTのStan氏やVK3AMNのJhonさんとは16年間もの長い間、毎週土曜日の夕方に定時交信を行っていました。VK3AMNの娘さんのErizabethとその友人のDalanesannも私の家に2回も来ています。残念ながらVK3AGTStan氏氏とVK3AMNSandy氏はすでに病気でSK（死亡）されています。私も招かれてオーストラリアに行きましたが、車での移動で驚いたのは広大な国なので車の周りは360度がぐるりと平坦な地平線でした。

今は私は86歳で鉄塔には上れません、鉄塔は降ろして小さな5バンドのGPをあげています。

This story was when I was much young about middle of 30 years old. It was my long awaited event to build a iron tower for Ham Radio operatoer. It was rather a small tower only about 11 meters high my ham radio friends helped me to build the tower. I put a very big three element Yagi antenna for HF band and it was very good to talk with many over sea stations on 14MHz SSB band. I didn't look for DX stations but I prefer to talk (or just chatting) especially with Australian stations because we have only 1 hour time difference with Australia. We kept on scheduled talk on every Saturday evening for almost 16 years long. There were very intimate two friends they are VK3AGT Stan and VK3AMN Sandy, however, they have already passed away. VK3AGT and his daughter Elizabeth and her friend Dalane visited my home twice and also I was invited their home. I was so surprised when we were driving through the wide Australian country I could only see just straight horisontal line 360 degree around us.

Now I aged 86 so I already took down the tower and using a very small 5 band GP antenna.
